A few notes for all…
1. AGM time. We expect this to run for about 30 mins. I also have some revised financial statements which I’ll send out shortly in another email (due to the size).
2. I’ve been called away to Sydney for work Tue-Fri, so I won’t be able to do the advertised Word Processing session in Cbr. However we have a very nice substitution for you with Tristan agreeing to talk about the new iOS version coming out shortly. That will be on around 8:30pm. I think that’ll be pretty good … maybe I’ll sneak back and sit in the back 🙂
3. ACTApple members get great discounts on all O’Reilly technical books. Note the new discount code on page 26.
4. A few have asked about memberships. For info of all, our memberships all run until Dec 31, near the end of October I’ll start sending out renewal reminders, and I follow up on all I send, so you won’t miss out.
5. ACTApple T-shirts are available on our website, and have been selling from there also. Yay! High quality t-shirts and very comfortable fabric with a stitched logo (not iron-on), excellent value for money. For our Port Mac members – you’ve got your own “Port Mac” logo.
